When any child is born, he becomes the responsibility of not only his parents but also the society that surrounds him. We are responsible for their living conditions and also their education. We have to think about the resources to fulfill their current needs and future needs.

We should provide them enough avenues that they can select a future course of life. Make them educated so that they can become responsible to own their actions and make their own position in the world.

Any child can lead a successful only if he is physical, mentally and emotionally strong. A child spends a lot of time in school. He learns to read, write and communicate. These are all academic developments. But it is also they must learn how to make friends, maintain relationships, and handle all the stressful psychological situations. It is the responsibility of both parents and teachers to make a motivated, happy and emotionally intelligent individual.

Teachers need to construct a psychological strategy to facilitate successful classroom teaching and learning. Psychological aspect must be considered at every stage of learning, including early education, primary, middle, secondary and even in special education. Teachers must understand the thinking pattern of their students
Teachers often tend to ask students ‘why’ when students do not perform well in assessment. Casual approach is to blame child’s intelligence, which relates growth and mindset of the student. This blame on one’s ‘ability’ makes unmotivated students. But if the teacher attribute blame of failures to ‘efforts’ generally reflects the attitude of motivated students. Teachers must be careful while phrasing the content of the praise it should not be based on ability but on efforts.

Acquiring knowledge and skill is dependent on practice.
Knowledge of anything gets noted down in our long-term memory. Most of the academic information or sports or singing even playing musical instruments must be taught in a way that it gets inscribed on long-term memory. To retain information permanently it should be transferred to long-term memory zone and the best way to do this is practice i.e. repeating a task. But only repeating would not improve the performance. Practice should be deliberate, conscious, attentive and repetitive. This leads to new knowledge and skills.

Students should be taught self-regulation
Self-regulation means planning, organizing, being attentive, self-controlled and finding out strategies to memorize. Good news is that these skills can be taught by way of instructing, supporting and structuring. Tricks to this are very simple like, breaking the task into the smaller task; give enough time and opportunities to practice the task. Give time to summarize, understand, absorb and question the task or topic. Teachers must alert the students to before introducing a new concept or topic.

Set short-term, specific goals
Setting goals are the process by which students can establish a standard of performance for themselves. Goals for students should always be short term, well defined moderately difficult and achievable. This helps them to get a sense of self-worth. A written record should be maintained by the teachers and students to check whether it has been achieved or not. This way they will become achievement-oriented individuals.

Self Esteem
Self-esteem is based on how we perceive ourselves in the matters that are important to us.
Healthy self-esteem can be built on optimistic self-perception, which generally gets prominent in the childhood. In the early school years, children establish their own identity. They experience individuality and independence for the first during the school phase. Self-esteem of children is often very high; they respect themselves and the family members.

They start to make their own social place in appearance, behavior, and capabilities in comparison to the children around them.
Low self-esteem hampers school performance and social relationships. These children usually achieve poorly in academics and are less confident. They develop an inferiority complex if it is not intervened early by optimistic and positive reinforcement by parents and teachers.

Last notes
Teachers are the people who can influence the teaching-learning process. With effective personal relationship and communication with students, they can enhance their social, interpersonal and emotional well-being. Teachers must try to understand the cultural and personal background of the students this will facilitate their interaction in the classrooms. This will help students to become motivated, self-loving and emotionally stable individuals.
